Bye-Bye, Baby!

Dear Jane,

You were amazing--an original.  I've had a girl-crush on you since I was a kid.  You were always the smart-mouthed, curvy brunette who called it like it was.  I wanted to grow up to be you.  And many times I was--a little.



B and I regularly perform as you and Marilyn.  We are pretty good at it, too.  We're still trying to track down your costumer, though.



My heart hurts a little that you are gone now, but we'll always have a few of your films to smile over--and every time I hum one of your songs, you won't be very far away.  Bye-bye, Baby! You were fabulous!
